4. SMS / Text Message Communications

When you provide a phone number as part of your Tothara account, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS and MMS) from Tothara at the phone number you provide.

• Maintenance request notifications and status updates
• Rent payment reminders and confirmation receipts
• Lease renewal alerts and important tenancy notices

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity. You may receive multiple messages per week during active use of the platform.

Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply. These charges are billed by your mobile carrier. Tothara does not charge separately for SMS messages.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of marketing SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any text message from Tothara. You will receive a one-time confirmation, and no further marketing messages will be sent. Note that opting out of marketing messages does not stop transactional or account-critical messages (such as security codes and urgent account notices), which are necessary for the proper functioning of your account.

You may also manage your communication preferences in your account settings at any time.

Supported Carriers

SMS messaging is available through major U.S. carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
